TRACE 2027
May 24–29, 2027 | Tartu, Estonia
TRACE 2027 will bring the international tree-ring research community to Tartu, Estonia, for a week of scientific exchange focused on the use of tree rings in understanding environmental change, climate variability, and human–environment interactions. The conference will take place from May 24 to 29, 2027, with hands-on workshops held prior to the main scientific programme.
The meeting provides a platform for researchers at all career stages to share recent advances, methodologies, and applications of tree-ring research. Sessions will span a broad thematic spectrum, including climate reconstruction, forest dynamics, tree physiology, ecological processes, and the interpretation of tree-ring records in archaeological contexts.
TRACE 2027 is hosted by the Estonian University of Life Sciences and the University of Tartu, highlighting Estonia’s active role in environmental and forest research and its strong connections within the international dendrochronological community.
The organising committee is pleased to invite you to Tartu, a historic university city, and looks forward to welcoming participants for TRACE 2027.
